This course is delivered face to face and is classroom‐based. All units are delivered and assessed using a combination of the following instructor‐led methods; face-to-face in classrooms, simulated business environments, laboratories, site locations, and open field settings, with learning and assessment resources accessed through an approved E-learning platform.
To ensure an appropriate learning opportunity, candidates need to demonstrate a capacity to undertake study at Advanced Diploma level, this can be demonstrated via the following:

Each unit will be assessed using a combination of assessment resources and tools which may include; compiling portfolios, generating reports, Scenarios, role-plays, demonstrations/ observations within simulated Business/workplace environment, case studies, questions and answers and AutoCAD drafting training and assessments.

Note: As each unit is delivered as a standalone unit, students who do not successfully achieve competency in all of the required 12 units for this qualification/course, will not be awarded this qualification. However, students who successfully achieve competency in some units of this qualification can be issued with a Statement of Attainment for those individual units.

They perform tasks that are broad, specialised, complex and technical and include strategic areas and initiating activities. They are responsible for the design of complex projects to ensure the implementation of the client's site requirements and are required to demonstrate self-directed application of theoretical and technical knowledge and initiate solutions to technical problems or management requirements.
Students will learn in (RII60520- Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design) the calculation, estimation and foundation measurement of civil construction projects. Students will also get an opportunity to establish required skill and knowledge in relation to detail drafting, technical specification and bills of the quantities for the building projects.
